Little Miss Sunshine

I know it's only Springtime in England right now (and I've heard that the weather isn't too great) so I thought I'd inject some sunshine into your lives!!! How colourful and prettyful are these palazzo pants? They're also super comfy which is an added bonus...

One of the many things I've learned on my travels is that, in pre-Hispanic Mexico, the marigold was regarded as the flower of the dead. This may be deemed as a derogatory association but now the plant is used to celebrate the Day of the Dead. This can loosely be referred to as the Latin American equivalent of Halloween and the marigolds, around that time of year, come out in full force creating some rather impressive flower floats. I'm so happy that this gorgeous print has been replicated on material for me to wear with pride.

Bold prints are often best when teamed with a simple block colour, so my yellow tie front top was perfect for this outfit. Purchased a while back from the basic range at Topshop, I've got it in a few different colours. These tops have been an invaluable staple to my travel wardrobe as they're easily interchangeable with skirts/shorts and go with pretty much anything!

Speaking of my travel wardrobe, I'm looking back on these photos and wishing I had space in my backpack for this fabulous floppy hat. It's perfect for shading yourself in the (currently non existent) heat and also for feeling phenomenal. It's very regal, don't ya think?! I feel like a Princess when I'm wearing it :)

What're your favourite bold & bright prints to wear? Let me know!
